Another Sight recently went on tour to GDC (Game Developer Conference) in San Francisco and EGX Rezzed in London to give fans and members of the press their FIRST ‘sight’ and hands on of our studios lovingly crafted gaming experience.
During our travels, we also realised we had a little stowaway in the form of Hodge the cat from Another Sight – such a mischievous feline!
Fans got to experience two full levels from Another Sight which explores the meeting of Kit and Hodge after an accident leaves our female protagonist blind and alone. Gamers in attendance got to take control of both Kit and Hodge to use their unique abilities to navigate each level and help the duo make their way further into the mysterious underground world, where they would eventually encounter Claude Monet in his visually spectacular garden.
Creative Director Andrea Basilio was also on hand to meet and talk to everyone who played Another Sight and discuss the heartfelt tale and inspirations from Neil Gaiman’s ‘Neverwhere’ (and look after the demanding Hodge!). It was a fantastic experience to show off our game to you all for the first time, we have poured hours upon hours of love into this project and it was rewarding to hear directly how much you all enjoyed it!
